Questions we hear every day β€” answered honestly.

We wrote real answers, not legalese. If something isn't here, message us on Telegram (@horizlyorg).

About Horizly

  • No. Horizly is an independent consultancy. We facilitate your e-Residency application on your behalf, but we do not represent the Government of Verdis in any legal capacity.

  • Because we tell you the truth, including the uncomfortable parts: Verdis is not yet internationally recognised, and we are not a path to an EU passport. We publish our refund policy, confirm every payment over Telegram with a real person, and give you a reference code you can track.

  • We operate as a registered consultancy in Estonia, with support teams across Africa. Legal and privacy contacts are published on every legal page.

  • The Verdis e-Residency programme has onboarded more than 4,000 members worldwide as of early 2026. Horizly has onboarded hundreds of those from Africa.

About Verdis

  • The Free Republic of Verdis is an emerging microstate (β‰ˆ0.5 kmΒ²) in Southeast Europe, between Croatia and Serbia. It claims sovereignty, runs an e-Residency programme, and is working diplomatically toward international recognition.

  • Not today. Verdis is not a member of the UN or the EU, and is not currently on a formal EU accession path. It is an emerging state actively pursuing recognition.

  • No. Verdis is not an EU member, so a Verdisian citizenship does not grant EU rights. We say this clearly up front because other consultants sometimes blur the line β€” we won't.

  • Travel rights depend entirely on which countries recognise Verdis. Today, practical international travel should assume you still travel on your existing passport. This may change in the future, but no promises.

  • Yes β€” Verdis has been featured in coverage from international outlets including The Guardian, Forbes, NBC News and National Geographic. We link to primary Verdis sources during onboarding so you can read them yourself.

Process & Timing

  • From application to issued digital ID card typically takes 7–14 business days, depending on your country and the document checks required.

  • A valid government-issued ID (national ID or passport), a recent photo, and a proof-of-address document. We never ask you to upload passport numbers on the website β€” document verification happens via our secure Telegram workflow.

  • Yes. A national ID card is sufficient for most applications. We help you confirm what your specific country requires before you pay anything.

  • With the standard packages, we refund the Horizly service fee minus a $30 administration fee (Verdis government fees are non-refundable per their policy). With VVIP Premium's Denial Protection, we guide your re-application end-to-end.

Payment & Refunds

  • You place an order on the site. Within one hour, a real Horizly agent reaches you on Telegram, shares a Mobile Money number and exact local amount, and confirms receipt once you send it. No card data, no crypto wallet, no surprises.

  • Verdis government fees are non-refundable per Verdis policy. Horizly service fees are refundable if Verdis officially denies your application, minus a $30 administration fee. Timeline: up to 60 business days. Full detail on the Refund Policy page.

  • No. The price you see in your local currency is the price you send via Mobile Money. FX rates are fixed at confirmation and we show you the exact amount before you pay.

  • USD base. Supported local currencies: NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, UGX, TZS, ZMW, XOF, XAF, RWF, plus EUR for reference. Our currency switcher shows all three values so you always know what you're paying.

Citizenship Path

  • If you choose the Plus package and complete the 11-month e-Residency in good standing, you become eligible to apply for Verdisian citizenship. VVIP Premium cuts that wait to 8 months. We say eligible β€” not guaranteed.

  • Active e-Residency in good standing for the minimum period (11 months, or 8 with VVIP Premium), completion of the citizenship application, and in most cases two community vouchers from existing Verdisians.

  • It reduces the wait from 11 months to 8, waives the €300 government processing fee, and includes a professional application writing service with denial protection. You save ~3 months and ~$225 compared to the standard Plus path.

  • The citizenship application typically requires two community vouchers. VVIP Premium includes us securing both vouchers for you through our community network, so you don't have to build that network from scratch.
